WANT TO DANCE WITH THE DALLAS TAP DAZZLERS?
Here is what you need to know.
- New, incoming candidates must be a minimum age of 45 (there is no upper limit).
- Must have tap experience in the form of high intermediate or advanced level.
- Dazzler candidates attend "Dazzlers-In-Training" rehearsals weekly, which are required unless you are ill or out of town. The Dazzlers organization is NOT a dance class, but a performing dance company. Candidates should be prepared to learn and polish two Dazzler routines to "performance level" within three months after being accepted for training. Teaching tapes are also available so you may work at home at your own pace.
- When you join the Dazzlers, you commit to hard work, to rehearse and perform, to maintain a professional stage appearance, and to support and encourage each other in the growth and success of the group. In addition, since the Dazzlers' performance schedule is heavy, a strong commitment of time is required. For consistency and team spirit, Dazzlers shall not perform with other tap dance groups while holding active membership in the Dallas Tap Dazzlers.
