The Fifth Annual National
American Queen Pageant took place in Daytona Beach, Florida on August 4th.
State American Queen Titleholders from all over the U.S. competed for the National
Ms. Classic American Queen title
in the following categories:
Interview (with a focus on Community Service), Fitness, and Evening Gown.
Sheila Klein, of Dallas, Texas
won the national title of
MS.
CLASSIC AMERICAN QUEEN, 2007.
Sheila is a resident of Highland
Village and is employed by EDS (Electronic Data Systems) in Plano. She is active in
the Highland Village Women's Club and the Dallas Tap Dazzlers. Her numerous community
service endeavors include Bottom Buddies (diapers and pull-ups for Child Protective
Services) Sock It to a Senior (socks and toiletries for senior citizens) and Backpack and
School Supply Drive (benefiting underprivileged children in Dallas County).
Ms. Klein also won
additional awards including
Interview and Physical Fitness.
Ms. Classic American
Queen will dedicate a great deal of her time during her year of service focusing on the
prevention of Domestic Violence among women. She will also make public appearances
and is available for speaking and appearance engagements. The American Queen Pageant is a
fundraising vehicle for The Dash Foundation, Inc. The Dash Foundation, Inc. is a
non-profit organization dedicated to the prevention of domestic violence through early
education. |
